Lamoda price history: is the discount honest and when to buy

Besides the regular price, a Lamoda page may show a promo-code or special-offer price. The real one is what the item sells for right now under the promo terms; the rest are reference points the seller can move. It's easier to tell whether the item is getting cheaper or pricier from the chart: Palert records the best available price and shows its trend over months.

The sale comes at the end of every season: winter collections are marked down in January–February, summer ones in July–August, plus Lamoda takes part in 11.11 and Black Friday. The discount deepens towards the end of the sale, but the size grid melts along with it. The price history chart shows how far the item was really marked down in past sales — and whether waiting for more makes sense.

Sometimes −70% is an honest final markdown of collection leftovers, and sometimes the percentage is counted from an inflated "old" price. The page can't tell you which — it doesn't show what the item cost a week or a month ago. That's the central trade-off of buying clothes and shoes: the longer you wait for a markdown, the higher the chance your size sells out — popular ones go first, before the sale even peaks. The working strategy is to put the item on tracking and buy at the first meaningful drop instead of waiting for the absolute minimum. Lamoda itself doesn't show price history — only the current tags. Paste the product link or SKU into the Palert app (app.palert.ru) — the service builds the chart and keeps recording the price, and the extension for Chrome, Opera, and Firefox shows the chart right on the Lamoda page. A month of history is free, no bank card needed.

The cart recalculates the total at checkout: the promotion may have ended, the promo code may not apply to a specific brand, and some discounts only work above a certain order total. That's marketplace mechanics, not an error. If the item got pricier right in the cart, put it on tracking — an alert will come when the price goes back down.
